I believe in the power of being yourself, and make it a point to engage all of my unique skills, traits, and experiences in my work to maximize my positive impact on the world— and to enable others to do the same. I'm passionate about human potential, behavior change, human-centered systems design, and financial inclusion. I create impact in these areas through marketing, communications, and creating. A few questions I often ask myself are: How do we create a world where people believe in themselves, and are empowered to create the world they want to see? How do we do this through designing elegant systems with a creative, critical look at the stakeholders and factors at play? What is possible in terms of imagining and building a future of new, inclusive financial systems?
I'm a proud alum of Stanford University. My work has led me to organizations such as The Clorox Company, Agoric, Target, 1185 Design, BCG, 300 Entertainment, and to 19 countries. Fun fact: my family is from Eritrea, and one of my core motivations for excellence is to serve as a representative of my culture.
